ADC will assist your organization with all types of research and evaluation – getting you the data you need to create a road map to guide and measure positive change. We specialize in packaging the data findings in a way that they are easily understandable so that they can be readily used to educate, train, and inform policymakers, leaders, and supporters.
Evaluation and Research
ADC will conduct program evaluation on initiatives of any size using the appropriate type of evaluation depending on the type of intervention and the needs of the organization. This includes process, developmental, formative and summative evaluation.
ADC conducts environmental scans which are helpful when you are deciding to work in a specific area or system and you want to see a “birds-eye” overview. For example, a Behavioral Health Environmental Scan would compare the existing services in an area with an ideal continuum of care for behavioral health. This type of asset and gap analysis would be paired with an examination of the existing funding streams and policy/regulations that affect the providers on the ground. The report would include recommendations on how to improve the “system” to better meet the needs of the community.
ADC can design measurement tools, collect, analyze, and report the data in a form that is useful, understandable and packaged to create change. Research methods provided by ADC include:
-
- Literature Reviews
- Survey research
- Focus Groups
- In-depth interviews
- Community-based Participatory Research
- Secondary data analysis and reporting using large population health datasets such as the census, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health, Behavioral Health Risk Factor Surveillance Survey, etc.
